Bar 5 is an Elite Genetic breeding operation with focus on pushing through Proven Genetics to the commercial Production side of the beef industry. We have connectivity to the end product of the Beef industry, Meat, and therefore have tied Efficient Production of this Protein Food source back to "Genetic Selection".  
 
Located one hour north of Guelph, ON and the University of Guelph's Research Station, we have forged close links to some of the World's leading technologie sources to develop our "Genetic Selection" Program.

1. ET - Bar 5 produces over 600 embryos per year.  
2. 50% of sales are Export market.  
3. 2 Bull Sales per year 
4. Pure Angus, Red Angus & Hybrids with Fleckvieh, Gelbvieh & 3 Breed Stabilizers.  
5. Genetic Selection Program is focused on three areas; i) Genetic Sire lines & Maternal Cow families; ii) Physical Assessment - EOT, ratios & indexes; iii) Genetic Evaluations - Across Breed EPDs, Breed Association EPds, and Genomics.
