Lindon Angus Farms

Lindon Angus is a family operation owned and operated by Lindsay and Donna Penosky with help from Lisa Allan, Cathy Sharp and Kimberly Molvold (daughters).  Lindon Angus was established in 1968 with a group of heifers from Lindbarry Angus (father, Ken Penosky).  We have been on the Angus performance program for many years.

Show & Sale Results: We partake in Rancher Bull Congress in Stettler in January and the 2nd Annual "Premium Plus" Bull and Female Sale on March 30 2006 at the Stettler Auction Mart. Sale has black and red angus, shorthorn bulls and females.

We have shown at Farmfair, Stettler Fair and many Junior shows including the Canadian National Junior heifer show, Provincial 4-H show (Supreme Champion Overall Female) and the Canadian All Breeds Heifer Show.

Breeding Program: We will be calving out 90 head of cows and heifers this year. We use AI extensively to bring in new genetics.

The cow herd over the years has been predominantly home-raised with the odd female purchased from outside sources. The basis of our business is our commercial clients. We have marketed a female to Ireland. We'd love to visit with you and tell you more. Give us a call!
