For over 50 years Oak Manor has been involved in breeding purebred livestock. Our involvement in the Angus business has been in the last 20. Always at the forefront has been the recognition of the value of superior female lines and the use of superior sire lines through A.I. It has always been a thrill to see the genetic match and subsequent outcome--that healthy aggressive calf with the spectacular will to live. This has always been a priority along with mothering ability. It still continues to be the magic of watching the miracle of Nature. ****** At present, the consulting part is heavily involved in the introduction of R.F.I.D. readers and computer software to support traceability and record keeping across the agricultural sectors.

Show & Sale Results:
Private treaty sales at the farm have been our main method of marketing.

Breeding Program:
Genetic selection through use of proven A.I. sires plus careful selection of Sires by sound feet and legs, udder quality , disposition and performance data have been the rule.
